In a strategic expansion of the shareholder base, Letbek has brought in two experienced industry professionals, Steen Sørensen and Bjørn Bahnsen via the company TLP Holdco, as shareholders .

Letbek CEO, Michael Thomsen, states:

– I am very proud that two great competencies in the Danish business community have chosen to become part of the Letbek Group. It provides an opportunity to accelerate our growth journey and expand our position as a leader in sustainable solutions, where we use plastic as a circular resource.

The new shareholders will contribute, among other things, within production management, automation and sustainability.

– It provides an opportunity to continue the current strategic direction with a focus on automation and streamlining of production. In addition, we expect that the new competencies will support the ambition of an even faster and more efficient product development, says Michael Thomsen.

In addition, both new shareholders have several years of experience in building up production in Poland, which is expected to contribute to the expected growth at Letbek’s factory in Poznan in the coming years.

Chairman of the Board of Letbek, Bo Jørgensen, states:

– A perfect match. I look forward, together with our new passionate partners, to taking Letbek to the next level.

Steen Sørensen
For the past 25 years, Steen Sørensen has had his daily routine at the family business BSM in Bjerringbro, which primarily works with metal processing for large Danish customers. In addition, is a co-owner of Zystm, which produces furniture solutions for hospitals and laboratories. Steen has previously been a co-owner of BS Steel in Poznan, Poland, the company was sold to American Legget & Platt by the end of 2021 and Steen Sørensen is no longer active in the company.

Bjørn Bahnsen
Bjørn Bahnsen has been active in the furniture industry for many years through the Polish companies Trio Line Polska and BS Steel. The companies were sold to Legget & Platt at the end of 2021, whereby Bjørn Bahnsen is no longer a shareholder or active employee in the companies. In addition, Bjørn Bahnsen is active in the robot industry as the founder and co-owner of Robotize – a leading manufacturer of self-propelled robots for production and storage. Finally, Bjørn Bahnsen is involved in the hospitality industry through the ownership of Dallund Castle with a special focus on sustainability, among other things through an ongoing B Corp certification.
