In NG Group, a new youth concept will strengthen the culture and unity across the group. Ann-Beth traveled from Tistrup to Oslo to participate in the workshop day.
As a young employee in NG Group, Ann-Beth Ejstrup, who on a daily basis works with internal sales and marketing at the office in Tistrup, was able to travel to Oslo to participate in the youNG Games, which is a new initiative for young employees in NG group. The purpose of the day was to strengthen the WE-culture, the community and the knowledge of each other across the group, but the day also brought many other benefits.
– I got the opportunity to relate professionally and socially with colleagues I have not met before. It really helps strengthening the relations, the sharing of knowledge and the team, when you get to meet and talk to people, who are part of the NG Group, says Ann-Beth.
The program included speeches about the importance of a WE-culture – and afterwards a workshop was held on the subject, where concrete proposals were formulated for initiatives that the young generation in NG Group finds important.
– Now it will be exciting to see how our input is carried forward, but I have also personally gained a better insight into my colleagues’ everyday life, tasks and challenges. We had a good dialogue about resource sharing and optimization in NG.
The day ended with a social gathering with food, drink and a standup show, while Ann-Beth, however, had to catch a flight back to Denmark.
