We recently reached a milestone in our safety culture and working environment. Letbek reached 365 days without work-related injuries resulting in work absence.
At the factory in Tistrup you can go to work safely! This has now been marked and proven, as during an entire year the employees have not had a single work-related injury which has been the cause of absence from work. It is an important milestone for everyone, but not least also to the delight of Steffen Feddersen-Koed, who is responsible for quality and safety at Letbek.
- It is important for every single employee to feel safe when they go to work at Letbek. All conditions at the workplace must be in order, just as all employees must support that we do our work in a safe way. We only succeed with overall safety if everyone makes it a priority and follows the rules and guidelines set out by the management, says Steffen.
Steffen spends a good part of his working time protecting safety in all possible ways, but safety is also a priority from the top management of Letbek. This spring, they have invested in new work wear for everyone, and the work wear it selve can contribute to increased safety. All parts of the work wear collection have visible, reflective colors and reflectors. In addition, there are now requirements for the use of safety shoes in the production area, as well as helmets in parts of this area too.
To celebrate the milestone a big THANK YOU & CONGRATULATIONS cake was served for all employees.
